As creators, we need to stay moving. Moving toward new ideas, new discoveries, new creations.
But so often, we get stuck.
Stuck because we don’t have enough time. Stuck because we don’t have our idea yet. Stuck because we think we’re not good enough. The list goes on...
It’s easy to be stagnant. It’s the default position for so many of us.
We sit around waiting for something to get us unstuck: A brilliant idea. Better gear. More followers. An anonymous benefactor to give us a boatload of cash.
How do most people do it?They wait around for inspiration to strike before they create.
They try to perfect their craft before creating something of their own.
They don't make anything until they finally have the “right” gear.
They expect the idea to be perfect in order to make it.
But we are Creators-In-Motion.
We keep moving. Keep discovering. Keep creating, whether or not we feel inspired.
Why do we do it?Because when we create consistently, we can iterate quickly, develop our craft at a rapid pace, turn inspiration into creation, and overcome the roadblocks that used to get us stuck.
This is our new default: consistent creating.
We have creative momentum and we can’t be stopped.
So that’s what this challenge is all about.Even if you’re just starting out. It’s so important to start your momentum. To start creating.
And if you’re a seasoned veteran. Maybe this challenge comes at a time where you could use an extra push to keep creating even when the ideas aren’t flowing.
